We do not disclose participant information to any other websites, companies, or organizations.  We will use your screen name, email address and zip code to verify your identity when you arrive at the event.

Please be sure to read everything thoroughly so you fully understand what you are agreeing to when you submit your registration.

Upon arrival at the event, you will be expected to sign a physical copy of the Terms of Agreement.  Failure to sign the legal waiver will result in forfeiting your right to participate in any part of the Friends Over Texas Event without refund of the event fee.

Event Cancellations:

Event fee will be reimbursed for cancellations submitted prior to Thursday May 22nd.  After that date, no refunds will be issued.

Event Policies and Hotel Regulations:

I agree that if I violate any of the event or hotel policies, I will no longer be allowed to participate in the event activities and may be asked to leave the event completely without refund.  In addition, I may be permanently barred from attending the event in future years.  Should my actions cause the hotel to shut down the event, I will be responsible for reimbursing all lost expenses of Friends Over Texas 2025.

1.  I agree not to bring or use any glass objects in the pool area. 

2.  I agree not to intentionally drop any objects from balcony areas down to the street level.

3.  I agree to obey all local ordinances, and not to behave in ways that may disturb or offend other hotel guests. 

4.  I understand that bringing illegal drugs onto hotel property will result in my being asked to leave the event completely without refund.

5.  I understand that any lewd behavior or nudity in the common areas of the hotel, including the pool area, will not be tolerated. Any overt public sexual activities or organized group sex activities that, in the opinion of Friends over Texas, can in anyway be mistakenly construed to be sanctioned, organized, or approved as part of the event will result in all involved parties being removed from the event completely without refund.  The offenders may also be permanently barred from attending the event in future years.

Assumption of Risks and Responsibility

I realize that participation in the above mentioned event, Friends Over Texas, entails the risk of injury and damages to me and my property. Such risks may include, but are not restricted to slips, falls, physical contact or interaction with other participants, third-parties, equipment and/or facilities (whether or not in the control of Friends Over Texas), abnormal climate conditions or endeavors at high speed.  I realize that there will be activities and excursions (motorcycle ride, tours, pub crawl, etc.) organized by participants at the event, which are not part of the event, at which I may voluntarily participate.

I freely and voluntarily accept and assume all such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, violence, property damage or loss, during all the time of this event or outside activities or excursions, including but not limited to those resulting from travel arrangements, attendance at Friends Over Texas and any other activities or excursions.  I further agree to take full legal and financial responsibility for all of the preceding.

I accept responsibility to abide by the laws of this jurisdiction and obey all the rules set out for this event.  I fully understand that the possession of any illegal substance, any lewd, inappropriate, dangerous or overt public sexual activities or any organized group sex activities that, in the opinion of Friends over Texas, can in anyway be construed as a sanctioned, organized, or approved activity of the Friends Over Texas Event, or other violation of the law or rules of this event will result in my immediate removal from the event without refund.

Liability Waiver and Indemnification

In consideration of approval to participate in this event, I , for myself, my heirs, successors, assigns, representatives and all who may now or in the future claim by, through or under me, hold harmless, release and forever discharge Friends Over Texas, its organizers, members, volunteers and all others acting on its behalf, from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims, demands, expenses or losses whatsoever resulting or arising out of my participation in this event or any activities or excursions, including without limitation damage to any and all property and any and all personal injuries, including death, resulting from any cause including their negligence.

I hereby indemnify and hold harmless Friends Over Texas, its organizers, members, volunteers and all others acting on its behalf, from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims, demands, expenses or losses whatsoever by or in favor of any other person or entity, whether directly, indirectly, or otherwise, including, but not limited to, attorneys' fees and court costs, which they may bear as a result of my participation in this event or any activities or excursions, whether based in tort or contract, pursuant to statute or under the common law of any jurisdiction, including without limitation damage to any and all property and any and all personal injuries, including death of others or myself.

Oath of Privacy

I have been informed that the hotel/venue staff and other guests are unaware of the nature of the Friends Over Texas Event.  I have also been informed, and agree, that our group shall be referenced only as the‘Texas Event’.  If I am asked about the group, I shall identify it only as an internet social group of people that chat year round and meet up in Texas once a year. I respect the anonymity of the group and to each of its members and I hereby swear, under penalty of perjury, that I will not inform any person about Friends Over Texas or the purpose of the event at any time, including when I am in public and off the hotel premises.

I agree not to visibly/publicly advertise or distribute promotional items for any separate group, organization, or business on or near the event site, during the time period of the event.  I understand that such advertising could fall into the wrong hands and invite questions about or compromise the privacy and confidentiality of our group.

I agree not to take photos of anyone at the event without asking and receiving their express permission. I also promise to let people know whether I intend to share these photos either online or off.  If I do not want my photo taken and/or shared, I promise to inform people with cameras immediately.

I understand that if I violate this oath, I will be caused to leave the event immediately without refund or recourse and will possibly be permanently banned from future events. I may further be subject to civil liability by the group and/or individual members.
